27 Transforming Education in Kajiado: A Bold Step Towards Digital Literacy.
Education is evolving and Kajiado County is taking a significant leap forward.
Today CECM for Education,Vocational Training ,Youths and Sports Janet Sereu, alongside Chief Officer Naomi Parinkoi ,Ward and sub-county coordinators, The county Government of Kajiado signed an MOU with our esteemed partners Education Limited , officially launching a three-day digital literacy training at Primary Boys School (PBS).
As the world moves towards digital literacy and numeracy, this initiative will empower enumerators with the necessary skills and gadgets to train teachers in arithmetic and language.
This foundational workshop sets the stage for next week’s teacher training, followed by Phase Two, where coordinators will deepen their digital skills in education,ensuring Kajiado keeps pace with the rest of the country.
In a groundbreaking partnership, the County Government has also signed an MOU with iHub to train teachers in numeracy and literacy skills across five wards. This marks a major turnaround for the Early Childhood Education sector in Kajiado.
The County is fully committed to capacity building for officers and teachers, strengthening the foundation of education and ensuring a brighter future for our children.
