Official Launch of the Economic Empowerment Programme
The department of Trade, Enterprise Development and investment participated in the official launch of the Economic Empowerment Programme, aimed at uplifting livelihoods of the Iarat community. This launch was officiated by the Rotary District 9212 Governor, Dr. Joe Kamau.
Upon completion of this program Iarat community will benefit hugely from modern ESP market, save & Clean water & the ICT Hub. The Rotary has pledged to do a borehole at the market site as well as reticulate water to the nearby school. The community was trained on how to start business, marketing & financial management. The event was graced by Grace Saitoti Co. Trade, The CECM Leah Marias, Area MCA Torris , Rotary officials and other government officials
